The topic of angels is one we don’t discuss in the church much, but we should. There are over 300 references in the Bible dealing with angels, and angels play an important role in the events surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ. But even though the Bible has a great deal to say about angels, there are still a lot of misconceptions about them that need to be clarified. The first appearance of an angel in the Christmas story is the angel Gabriel coming to an old priest by the name of Zechariah. Let’s consider the story.
