The Bible makes it clear that angels are real, that they are created spirit-beings who are normally invisible. Luke chapter 1 relates the most famous appearance of an angel in history—Gabriel’s appearance to Mary to announce the birth of the Son of God. As we look at this encounter, may we each develop a deeper sense of calling and purpose in our own lives.
