Do You Waste Time?

Good morning, church family & friends!

In the quiet moments of our lives, it's easy to wonder if we're making the most of the time we've been given. We fill our days with tasks, meetings, and errands, yet at the end of the day, do we feel fulfilled? The world often pulls us in countless directions, promising satisfaction in achievements, possessions, or entertainment. But as believers, we are called to a higher purpose, one that redefines how we view our time.

The Apostle Paul gives us clear guidance: This isn't a command to fill every second with frantic activity, but a call to live with intention. It's about recognizing that each day is a gift from God, an opportunity to reflect His love, share His truth, and grow closer to Him.

Wasting time isn't just about being idle; it's about investing our precious moments in things that have no eternal value. Are we scrolling mindlessly when we could be praying? Are we chasing temporary pleasures instead of seeking lasting joy in God's presence?

Let's ask ourselves today: How can I honor God with my time? It could be as simple as pausing to pray for a friend, reading a chapter of scripture, or showing kindness to a stranger. When we align our actions with God's will, no moment is wasted. Instead, every minute becomes a chance to live wisely, purposefully, and for His glory.

Blessings,
Pastor David
