Lord of Our Prayers

The disciples asked Jesus, “Teach us to pray.” It wasn’t that they had never before prayed, but in comparison to the prayer life of Jesus they realized their inadequacy. They saw the correlation between Jesus’ prayers and his miraculous power and dynamic leadership, and they wanted to tap into that themselves. So in Luke 11, Jesus gives his disciples a lesson about how to pray. Let’s look at it and see if we can gain more of his power and peace through prayer.
